He appreciates the midwestern values he was introduced to growing up in Ohio and enjoyed the experiences he had while living in Vermont and upstate New York. In his time away from soccer, Ray cherishes opportunities to travel and experience the outdoors and you might also find him at the hard rock concerts coming through town. Elba is an Albuquerque native, and she played with Alameda Flash and won 7 state titles.
She was on varsity cross country and played varsity soccer all 4 years of high school. She was the cross country state champion. She has coached middle school boys for Bosque Middle School the fall of and has been an assistant girls coach at Albuquerque Academy for 5 years from and won 3 state titles during that time.
When Sibby was five and six years old, his family lived in Quito, Ecuador. In , his father took him see the championship game of the Ecuadorian professional league. The passion and energy of the packed stadium infected Sibby for life. Sibby grew up mostly in the Philadelphia metro area; played club soccer for FC Delco 70; captained a Pennsylvania high school State Champion Conestoga High School ; and eventually played four years of varsity soccer at the University of Pennsylvania Sibby was voted to the thru All-Decade best eleven.
After coaching several high school varsity programs on the east coast, Sibby moved to New Mexico in Sibby has coached elite older boys teams for Rio Rapids SC over the past 15 years, winning eleven State Cup Championships with seven different teams. David will oversee the UU15 Boys teams and help develop coaches and players within the age group.
He was born raised in the Albuquerque area. After graduating from St. Pius X High School in his coaching career started. He is entering his 18th year coaching at the high school level. The top six finishers in each conference went through to the October playoffs, which continued as a series of single- game knockout rounds. After three rounds of intra- conference play, the two conference champions met in the championship match, to be hosted by the team with the better regular- season record.
