I came in just last night, so they were temporarily out of several games I asked about due to it being just two weeks after Christmas , but the fact that they carry them at all is pretty cool.

They seem to have a great selection of imported games and games from lesser-known publishers. I'll admit this is the first store I've been to that was dedicated to board games, but it was just what I was looking for. I was impressed by the fact that they had a lot of card games and that they had a whole case of pawns, counters, die, and other game accessories. They have a whole wall of games by Cheap Ass Games, in which access to these game pieces is important.

They also had a book and figurine section and a whole wing of the store dedicated to jigsaw puzzles and model airplanes. This is definitely a gamer's game store. They even had a small group of people in the thick of a role-playing game when I was in the store. Their classic games section was a little bit spare, but it seemed like they were kind of low on everything as a result of it being just two weeks after Christmas.

Prices seemed standard. I'm not sure what the other reviewer experienced with bad customer service. I've seen the employees get consumed trying to teach games to customers, or getting pulled into a corner to answer someones hobby supply questions, but I have NEVER seen them ignore a customer intentionally.

Don't pass this place up in favor of newer stores--you'll be missing out! Great Selection, rubbish staff. The Bad: I know this is a game store, and i prefer lax staff to the hard sell types Also, when i come up to you and ask abotu the seemingly high price of a used copy of an outdated edition of an obscure game Try maybe being polite?

Something like "I'm sorry, store policy prohibits price haggling on our used game stock. Don't get all in a huff and act rude to the point of trying to make me feel like an idiot for daring to ask about it. Bottom Line: I HATE ordering things online and paying shipping and handling and waiting for a week or more to get any product, but i'll gladly do that before stepping foot in this establishment again.
